These were the cheapest court shoes I could find. I was not very interested in spending money on shoes when I first started playing volleyball so I went to my local sports store and looked for any court shoe that was on sale. These Mizuno's fit the bill and surprisingly they lasted me a couple of years! Lots of people ask me "What shoes should I buy for a beginner?" and although there isn't an exact answer to this question, it usually comes down to price for someone who isn't sure if they'll like the sport. I always recommend buying some sort of court shoe or basketball shoe and stay far far away from any type of running shoe! They just don't have the support or traction needed on the court. Not to mention that a lot of other shoes can possibly mark up the floors too.
